The synthesis of glycopeptides and oligosaccharides is valuable for the discovery and design of new biologically active molecules. A possible route for creating such sugar derivatives is the use of cyclopropyl glycosyl donors. We have synthesized three cyclopropyl sugars from vinyl glycoside derivatives. One of these sugars was used to form glycopeptides from partially protected serine and threonine.
