Complimentary Shuttle Bus

MARM 2008 offers a free local shuttle bus service between the Bayside Station of the Long Island Railroad and Queensborough Community College, making stops at the Anchor Inn and the Ramada Adria Hotel. If you are commuting to the meeting by the LIRR, or if you are staying at these hotels, we especially encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle. This complimentary service is provided to all conference attendees courtesy of Dream Tour, Inc.

Shuttle service on Sunday through Tuesday begins at the LIRR station at 7:30 AM and the last bus from QCC leaves at 9:10 PM. On Wednesday, service begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 1:00 PM.

Passengers will be picked up in front of the main building of the train station, which is on 41st Avenue. The ride between the train station and QCC is ~20 minutes, and the shuttle will stop at the parking lots of the Ramada Adria Hotel and the Anchor Inn. Each stop will be serviced every thirty minutes (every hour on Wednesday). The shuttle will stop across the street from the QCC campus at the Jewish Center of Oak Hills as shown on the campus map. Buses will continue to run during the meeting lunch break. The LIRR stop is one block from Bell Boulevard, where you can find many of our recommended restaurants.
