Two 3½-hour hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering,
& Math (STEM) education activities for Elementary School teachers sessions
are being held on Saturday, June 2 at MARM 2012. These identical sessions will consist of 3
topics relevant to chemistry: computer
science/logic, energy topics, and materials/polymers. Attending teachers will perform hands-on labs
that they can bring back to their classrooms in part or entirety. Attending teachers will also be given a lab
kit (with materials from the experiments performed) to bring back to their
classrooms.
