Dear Potential Exhibitor / Sponsor,
The Maryland Section of the American Chemical Society is pleased to host the 43rd Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting (MARM 2012) from May 31 – June 2, 2012 in Baltimore, MD at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). We invite you to consider exhibiting at and/or sponsoring our meeting. The scientific theme of MARM 2012 is Chemistry on the Chesapeake. The exciting research will highlight chemistry and technology of the Baltimore/Washington, DC Metro area, such as Environmental Chemistry, Renewable Energy Chemistry, Nanotechnology- EHS and Materials, Bio-Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Food and Flavors Chemistry.
The cutting edge scientific program and meeting location leads us to expect about 1000 attendees from academia, government, industry, and K-12 education. UMBC is just off Interstate 95, 10 minutes from BWI Airport and 10 minutes from Baltimore's Inner Harbor, with it's wonderful restaurants and attractions such as the National Aquarium and Maryland Science Center.
We realize that challenging economic conditions may impact your ability to participate as an exhibitor. We have made every effort to keep this event as economical as possible. The fee is $1000 for the entire three days and includes two registrations. The exhibit hall is designed for high traffic, immediately adjacent to the registration area and sharing the same space as daily poster sessions and refreshment breaks, ensuring a steady stream of attendees to frequent your booth. Rooms have been reserved at the Holiday Inn, Inner Harbor and the Best Western, BWI at reduced rates for meeting participants.
We hope that you will be able to participate in MARM 2012 - we are looking forward to a great meeting!
