The focus is on innovative curriculum materials and instructional strategies that engage students in learning and promote the development of critical learning process skills that are essential for mastery of course content and success in courses, college, and careers. Presentations describe specific implementations along with their successes and challenges. Topics most relevant to introductory and general chemistry are included in Session I, and organic chemistry and more general topics are covered in Session II. Each presentation is expected to have at least one take-home message or insight. | |||
