for chemical professionals. You'll learn the best way to organize
your search and then target the market segments and jobs that are
right for you. By performing a personal assessment, you'll discover
which jobs are most suited to your values, skills and aspirations.
You'll also learn how to find unadvertised jobs through networking,
make effective cold calls to employers, and gather useful information
about prospective employers.
- 9:30-11:00am - Preparing a Résumé
Land an interview with a winning résumé. This workshop
shows you shows you how to develop your résumé for
the maximum wow factor. You'll learn what you need to include and
how you need to present it. Just as important, we'll tell you
what not to include. We'll also help you improve your
résumés visual appeal so that it stands out and
instantly calls to a recruiter to read it. Finally, we'll give you
some important tips for transmitting résumés
electronically so that they don't get lost in cyberspace.
- 11:00am - 12:30pm - Effective Interviewing
Prepare yourself for interviews so that each one can be a success.
This workshop provides practical steps to help you excel during
interviews by 1) anticipating the common questions posed by
interviewers, 2) preparing your responses to tough questions in
