Awards

At MARM 2006 several awards were given out to prominent researchers, educators, graduate students, and undergraduate students in recognition of their achievements.

• ACS Regional Industrial Innovation Award
• The Alfred Burger Award in Medicinal Chemistry
• E. Emmet Reid Award for outstanding achievement in teaching chemical sciences at small colleges with in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This award is administer by the Steering Committee of the MARM of the American Chemical Society.
• High School Teachers Awards

  • Outstanding High School Teacher Awards from Mid-Atlantic Region Local Sections
  • The Southeast Pennsylvania Local Section Whalen Award for Outstanding High School Teacher
  • The Susquehanna Valley Local Section Award for Outstanding High School Teacher
• The Stanley C. Israel Regional Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical Sciences
• Student Award Symposium sponsored by the Chromatography Forum of Delaware Valley
• Susquehanna Valley Local Section Joseph Preistley Service Award
• MARM 2006 Outstanding Graduate Research Poster Award
• MARM 2006 Outstanding Undergraduate Research Poster Award
